随着 agentic AI 的发展，软件工程研究者提出“agentic SE”（SE 3.0）愿景，软件项目管理也需同步演进。作者基于对从业者当前 GenAI 经验的灰色文献综述，提出“agentic SPM”愿景，认为项目经理仍是人类中心的战略角色，可由 agentic AI 辅助而非替代。其博士研究计划包括：用实践者感知验证该愿景；开发 agentic 项目经理原型；在真实软件项目管理情境中开展案例研究以评估表现；探究项目经理角色演变与技能提升需求；并为负责任的人-智能体协作提供实践指导。
With agentic AI, software engineering (SE) researchers envision the "agentic SE" (SE 3.0) era. Software project management must evolve in parallel to facilitate the agentic SE era. Software project manager still remains as a human-centered strategic role, that can be assisted by agentic AI, rather than a replacement. My recent grey literature review on practitioners’ current GenAI experience in SPM pointed me to the vision of "agentic SPM" era, which I plan to build upon and explore the potential to have an "agentic project manager" as an assistant to the human project manager. I aim to validate this vision with practitioners’ perceptions, develop a prototype of an agentic project manager, and conduct case studies to explore the performance in a real-world software project management context. I will also explore the evolution of project manager’s role and upskilling requirements with this AI evolution. While creating the foundation for new research possibilities, my PhD also guides software practitioners on responsible human-agent collaborations.
