AccessDroid is a lightweight dynamic analyzer designed to uncover screen reader accessibility issues in Android app pages and automatically produce diagnostic reports. We classify screen reader accessibility issues into three types: semantics separation, semantics downshift, and semantics omission. Evaluated on 361 runtime UI pages from 50 real-world Android apps, AccessDroid successfully detects 249 true instances of semantics separation, 279 of semantics downshift, and 170 of semantics omission. On average, AccessDroid analyzes each page in just 15 milliseconds, achieving a precision of 98.8% and a recall of 98.3%, outperforming two baseline approaches.
